What is Azure DevOps?
Azure DevOps is a cloud-based platform provided by Microsoft that offers a suite of services for software development, delivery, and management. It includes a range of tools and services that can be used for application development, testing, deployment, and project management. Azure DevOps includes five main services:- Azure Boards: A project management and tracking tool that allows teams to plan, track, and discuss work across their entire software development process.
- Azure Repos: A version control system that allows teams to collaborate on code, share and review changes, and manage source code repositories.
- Azure Pipelines: A continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) service that allows teams to build, test, and deploy their applications automatically and quickly.
- Azure Test Plans: A test management service that allows teams to plan, track, and manage testing activities, including manual and automated testing.
- Azure Artifacts: A package management service that allows teams to create, host, and share packages and artifacts, such as libraries, binaries, and containers.
Azure DevOps also offers integrations with other popular development tools and services, such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Visual Studio, allowing teams to work seamlessly across multiple platforms and environments.
