Duet AI for Google Workspace.

Google Workspace now integrates AI into its apps, allowing real-time collaboration and generative AI features for writing, organizing, and visualizing. This new collaboration method, known as Duet AI for Google Workspace, builds on the launch of AI features in Gmail and Google Docs. AI-powered grammar, spell check, smart compose, and reply have helped users write over 180 billion times in the last year.

What is Google Duet?

Google Duet is an AI-powered collaborator that helps you write, visualize, organize, and connect more meaningfully in Google Workspace. It is currently available in beta for Google Workspace Enterprise customers.

Here are some of the things that Google Duet can do:

  • Help you write better content in Gmail and Google Docs by suggesting topics, improving grammar, and providing feedback.
  • Create original images from text, right within Google Slides.
  • Turn ideas into action and data into insights with Google Sheets.
  • Generate unique backgrounds for your video calls in Google Meet.
  • Create organized plans for tasks, projects, or any activity you want to track or manage.
  • To activate Google Duet, you need to be a Google Workspace Enterprise customer and have been invited to the beta program. Once you have activated Duet, you will see a magic wand button in the Google Workspace apps. Click the button to access the Duet AI interface and start using its features.

  • You can use Duet to help you write a more persuasive email. For example, you can ask Duet to suggest topics for your email, or to improve the grammar and structure of your writing.
  • You can use Duet to create a presentation with original images. For example, you can ask Duet to create an image from a text description, or to find an image that matches a specific keyword.
