What is Machine Intelligence?
Machine intelligence is a term often used interchangeably with artificial intelligence, but it can also be seen as an umbrella term encompassing the accuracy and capabilities of machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), and classical algorithms. It refers to the advanced computing that enables a machine, device, or algorithm to interact intelligently with its environment, taking actions to maximize the chance of achieving its goals. This concept is rooted in the idea that machines can learn from inputs and experiences, adapt to new situations, and perform tasks traditionally requiring human intelligence. As such, machine intelligence can be involved in various applications, from simple data processing to complex problem-solving scenarios, pushing the boundaries of what machines can do and how they can assist in decision-making processes.
